Some of the questions you might be asking.

Q: Are there TVs available
A: Yes, we have provided 32" TV/DVD for the living room. Master bedrooms have and games room have TVs.

Q: When is Hurricane Season
A: Mid June to October. The villa is located in an area classed as a hurricane evacuation area. The villa has been built to meet or exceed all building regulations for Florida.

Q: Do I need to take my wheelchair battery charger
A: Yes, if your charger only supports UK 240v, then please use the US to UK transformer provided.

Q: Will my mobile phone work
A: Yes, if you have a tri or quad band phone it will work, make sure you have the phone enabled for international roaming. Calls can be very expensive please make sure you know the cost of making and receiving calls. You should also ensure that the charger supports 110v

Q: Will my UK electrical equipment work
A: Yes, if it supports dual voltage, you will need a UK to US converter plug. We have provided UK extension leads with US plugs for use in the villa.

Q: Is internet access available
A: Yes, we have provided a wireless internet connection this is WPA encrypted for your safety.

Q: Is the villa wheelchair accessible
A: I am full time wheelchair user so have tried to make the villa as accessible as I can. The ground floor is fully accessible, please contact us if you have any queries as we understand that 'accessible' can mean different things dependant on type and level of disability.

Q: Will I be able to transfer easily
A: We have used equipment to make transfer as easy as possible, there is an electric ceiling track hoist in the master suit covering bedroom and bathroom. The bed is height adjustable and has bed sides if required. The toilet and shower seat are 520mm from the floor. Grab bars are fitted either side of the shower seat and toilet.

Q: Will I need my own sling
A: Yes, due to the different sizes and type of disability, we can not provide a sling suitable for all. The hoist spreader bar 4 hooks which can be used with a 4 or 6 strap sling.
